Homeschool Adventures

The girls have taken a liking to "doing school" all weekend long. This of course is great on one level, I am glad they are begging to learn instead of whining for having to. However, is it too much to ask that we take a break on the weekend and just relax?

Elyse is bound and determined to learn how to read and thinks that the whole process can happen overnight. Granted, she is a fast learner but, not that fast.

Have to start somewhere

I figure you gotta start somewhere. For someone that loves to write you would have thought that I would have been on-board with this blogging thing months ago but, nope, here I am starting for the first time. We shall see how well this progresses. Who knows, maybe through my blogging I may find my sanity again, I doubt it but anything is possible.

This is Valentine's Day, I can think of no better thing to do than sit in a perfectly quiet house with no husband in sight writing to myself online...talk about romantic. Oh well, it is what it is.
